The best part about the stories you tell the kiddies is if you happen to have the scars and "crude stitching" (that was usually done in haste 'cause your doctor didn't take too kind to all the screaming (usually from the Moms, more than the kid himself!)) to show them...
The battery acid scars I have always shuts down the "...I've got one to top that!" guy...
And, it does scare the kids...
