Yep....that's what happened with the old oil pan plug...successive trips to the same oil change place in town WORE DOWN/STRIPPED the screw plug and I had to replace the whole unit.....quick and cheap but they don't baby these cars and you end up with stripped plugs......

USE CAUTION and WATCH OIL CHANGE GUYS to insure they're not screaming the bolt back in with a pneumatic drill....will cause all sorts of problems down the road....
