If those leads don't pan out I know of a great mechanic who was the factory troubleshooting rep for 123's. He studied in Germany and knows these cars very well. Honest and quite reasonable too. Problem is he's in Northern Md. but would well be worth the drive IMHO. Let me know if you need any further info.
