Fluctuating oil pressure is an immediate red flag. These cars have a mechanical oil pressure guage so there is nothing good that can be happening when it fluctuates.

The decision of what to do depends completely on what is wrong with the motor and the overall condition of the car. Tell us more and we can offer thoughts.
