Like many before me, I took out the battery tray today and it is real bad. If anyone has one that is usable, let me know!

Of course, underneath there is a hole that looks like it could get rather big if I start poking. I've read threads here about using jb weld/sheet metal/por15 to deal with this, which I will attempt even though I have never done anything like this.

My question is what do you coat the inside of the wheel well with? I would have to rip out a good deal of that rubbery stuff. Looks like roofing tar or something. Thanks!
