Thanks Chad. For the bird captures, I used fast shutter speeds and wide apertures to get as much light in so it won't get blurry.
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000)
Aperture: f/4
Focal Length: 55 mm
Been practising using manual settings too. It helps a lot that I can control the settings. I've always been used to the automatic modes before. Took the camera for a test drive last Saturday at the beach:
