Clever boy...

Last night, I checked the readings between the wires on the connector for the ECT. Key off - readings never stayed steady. Danced from 0 to about 500 ohms, I think.
I didn't check each wire to ground - I'll try that tonight.

This weekend, I plan to pull codes from the computer that controls the cam advance to see if it's totally p-o'd about having it's connector attached (almost) to ground...

Next stop is the shop that I paid a lot of money for this headgasket job. Purpose - kneecap the smarmy little b'tard that told me "If you're not prepaired to pay to do it right, I'd suggest you take your car elsewhere..."

What a conversation that's gonna be.
