Getting ready to install a fresh head on my 603. I'm happy with putting assembly lube on the cam lobes and journals, but what about the outside of the lifters? The valves?

The engine won't be run for a while, no car for it yet, should I put something on the cylinder walls also (other than engine oil)?

Also, any favorite brands of assembly lube?
