I have one of those air filter setups coming from a fellow forum member. $55 is a small price to pay for having one of the best filter systems Mercedes ever designed.

Its really a shame they only used it that one year. The 86-87 300D/SDL filters are the next best but they won't fit in a W123 engine bay.
