I know you'll need the Bosch Part Number for the starter,it'll be on the
number plate affixed to the body of the unit.

look for "Starter Motor Visual Identification Guide" on the left and click on it.
Scroll down until you see your Starter's10 digit Bosch number.
(We've just got to get you to a Bosch supplier in Oz.
They're showing "Repair kits" so I' m assuming [Hopefully] you can get it locally.)

What you're ideally looking for is a Bosch Service Station that works on
Diesel Injectors and Pumps(They are usually good people and if you have
a part number they'll try and order it for you.)
Second choice is a Starter Remanufacturer's shop ,They'll know how to get the planetary gears...
