If it's cranking fast enough to start the engine, it's cranking fast enough to self-bleed. I don't like the FSM method because of wear on the battery but the FSM method is to crank continuously for a minute with pedal to the floor. If that doesn't do it, wait 5-10 minutes to cool the starter then try again. I prefer to crack the lines.
