Ignition removal
Good response. But if you need to remove the entire lock cylinder, I might add, you do not need to remove the steering wheel.
You do need to take out the instrument cluster. Remove the two 10mm(I believe) nuts securing the steering column to the dash frame.
Turn key in ignition lock to position 1. In this position, you can unplug the electrical from the lock cylinder.
Loosen lock cylinder collar and slide out of the way.
As best you can,may require removing support bolts lower down the steering column, push down steering column to clear the ignition switch from the dash. Push in detant button usually hidden by lock collar, and the lock cylinder will then slide out of the column.
