Steep labor charges? I didn't feel comfortable doing either of those jobs, and this guys knows what he's doing. His labor rate is 80 bucks an hour, so what are you getting at? 6 hours of labor for both jobs sounds about right to me.
I take it you don't go to mechanics often?
I try avoiding it whenever possible, but finding a good one who doesn't charge around 100 bucks an hour for labor is difficult, at least where I am.
You wonder why I'm getting into domestics. Cheap mechanics, and parts ARE EVERYWHERE.
