I had spares from a car I parted, it's easier to just screw on the whole assembly if the body is not color matched. On my '90 the drivers mirror is painted so I replaced the rubber boot. It takes some wrestling because the metal mount is larger than the rubber while assembled. You have to pull the rubber over it. It shouldn't be so hard with new rubber but I had to be careful not to crack the used piece. Also, the triangular panel clip almost always breaks. It's a plastic barb pushed into a sleeved rectangular hole. You may want to glue some velcro to replace it if it breaks...
