Well, tonight is the night. I'm going to propose to my GF. I'm going to pick up the ring this afternoon. It is all paid for just getting sized and the diamond set in it. They told me it would be ready any time after 4pm today.
My plan is to fake a problem with my car while we are driving tonight(as this has happened before
). I'll pretend like I'm losing power or something and pull into a parking lot. Then I am going to pop the hood and pretend like I'm holding a hose of something and ask her to come out of the car. Then I will ask her if she can go pop the trunk and grab a wrench for me. When she pops the trunk I'm going to have a couple signs hanging from the lid and some flowers. Then I am going to walk around and do the proposal.
She is a good one. I've been married once before and have a 3 year old son. She has never given me any headaches, not even once since we've been together in almost two years. We have never had a fight. We've discussed things and not agreed but we have always been civil. We share the same philosophies in life and have a lot of similar interests but enough different ones as well. She also has a great job. Best of all I don't ever have to pull any punches and can be myself at all the times. It is truly like hanging out with the guys except I can do certain things with her I can't with the guys...
