And why can't you just unlock the door somebody is wanting to get into? What is hard about unlocking your door?
If the vacuum lock system is working, I don't see much benefit to installing a jerry-rigged, loud, clunking electric system.
On both my cars I installed a remote lock system just on the drivers door so I don't have to wear out my key.
