What is in my tranny pan?
Did a transmission fluid/filter change on my 1991 300te 4matic today, and found some funky foamy stuff in the pan. Any ideas? I can tell you that it shifts well until about 15 minutes into a drive and then 2-3 becomes quite harsh. I had hoped a new filter and fluid would help this.
