Wife said her car (1990 300d) was making a noise when she turned the steering wheel. Took a look at it and the serpentine belt is loose and the spring is gone. I don't have a manual for this car so im not sure what else is missing, if anything. If just the spring broke, could anything else related to the tension on the serpentine belt have broken off?
