Go to AutoZoo or some such place and buy a little grabber tool they sell. looks like an oversized speedometer cable with a syringe grip at one end and four little metal pieces that come out at the other to grab whatever you have dropped. I have used the tool to retrieve many dropped pieces. If you can see them, you can probably get them.
