i kno a decent amount about ac and charging ac.
the class i had on climate control at school was only 3 weeks and it isnt enough for what needed to be covered in my opinion. I just never charged an R12 sys so i was wondering if any of the rules are different.
btw what switch on the climate control turns the ac on? should i just move the dial to cold as it will go and hit automatic? there is no freon in the system i pushed the valve with a small screwdriver to see and there was just a little hiss that came out so i kno it needs a recharge so i was gona put on the evacator and when i take it off monitor the vacuum and make sure it stays in neg pressure.
