What Leathermang is trying to tell you is adding refrigerant isn't going to permanently fix your AC.
You need to fix the leak, wherever it is. Then flush the system. THEN you can add refrigerant & the proper amount of oil.

Did they teach you in class that when refrigerant leaks the oil leaks out with it?
