My 1997 E320 looks new, friends and coworkers compliment me all the time. They tend to think it's a 2002 or similar vintage. Then they get in and see the odometer - 177,000 miles or so - and are shocked. The paint and interior look NEW (except the driver's seat bottom). The engine and tranny function AS NEW. But it has been religiously maintained since day one, and I have a stack of receipts to prove it.
