A new Bosch distributor cap and rotor are available online for $70 total. It would be best to replace them so you have a refurbished ignition system. Running your engine with deteriorated/worn cap & rotor may cause quick fouling of the new spark plugs. In the future check the condition of the cap and rotor before considering replacing ignition wires ... which last for a long, long time.
