I have noticed a new leak on my 1985 300td looks like it is comming from where the fill tube goes into the top of the transmission, is there a way to check this without dropping the tranny? also how does this get connected is it bolted on or is it welded on? it is not leaking from the tranny cooler line which is located jsut below the filler line. any sugestions would be greatley appreciated.
