Reread post #2.

there is an allen head bolt keeping the dip stick tube fastened to the pan.

there is a bolt fastening the tube at the back of the cylinder head.

remove these 2 fasteners, and the tube will lift right out.

There is an "O" ring on the bottom of the tube that makes the seal, the allen head
bolt keeps the tube tight to the pan.

the fastener at the top of the tube, keeps it from flopping around and tightly secured.
