FROZEN banjo fitting, Advice, please!

My'94 E320 Wagon with level control needs a new set of nitrogen chambers to cure the "Corvette Ride" problem. I simply cannot loosen the fitting that attaches to the center port on each side. I've tried penetrating oil, breaker bars, a gadget that you hammer to induce turning and even an impact wrench. As this is being done on my back with the car on stands, I am a bit nervous about using an acetylene torch so close to the gas tank. I guess they are just frozen in place after 15 years.

Suggestions for loosening them would be very much welcomed.
