I would like to say that I have known David or more then 5 years as my mechanic. He was recommended to me at the time by Tom Hanson who now works at the Classic Center in Irvine CA after reading some posts about my frustrations in trying to get the right person to work on my 73 280SEL. That car had many problems with it and was with David for some time while he worked on it. I know that David did not charge me for all the hours that he put into that car in order to get it running.

I now own 10+ MB's and if I have problems that I cannot figure out with my cars, he is the only person that I call. He has always been up front and takes the time to explain the reason that he is going down that path before he does the work. He has saved my bacon on a number of occasions. David is also a big contributor to the technical help section of the forum and I'm sure has helped many people here.

David is also quite easy to work with, I would expect that this should be something that you two can work out off line.
