On Sunday, as I was cruising along in my Dodge truck with my Miata up on the utility trailer, headed for the autocross in South Bend at the tire rack test track I was on a pretty small, obscure country road near Flora Indiana and Logansport while taking a detour, profiled by the rising sun, I noted a noble beast crossing the road in front of me.

The profile was clearly silouetted by the rising sun. I noted the slender nose, the four swiftly moving legs and the outstreched tail. I was unable to determine the exact color and so was a little unsure of the species of the beast....

I was unsure whether it was a Shrew or a Mouse.

No kidding.

But it was a glorious day, the autocross course was to my liking and to my car's liking and I took home the plastic.
