Is there a brake light gasket?

After being a good forum citizen, and doing a full search on this, and not finding an answer to my question, I now want to ask,

Is there such a thing as a brake light gasket? I saw one previous post where someone mentioned it, but I'd never noticed one (not that I ever paid attention to it), and there's no remnants of one ever being there.

I'm getting water in the trunk, and short of crawling in the trunk (no, I don't want to do that), I'm guessing that's where the water is coming in, as I have water inside the brake light assembly area. It could be leaking in from the trunk gasket, but I doubt it. There's an easy to see gap on the outside of the car once the trunk is open, where it looks like water can get in.

Is there a brake light gasket seal?
