dont know what a cold cranking battery is. All auto batteries (at least in the US) are rated in "cold cranking amps", so how much current you can obtain at a low temperture.

Some battery chemistries are tailored to some extent for the environment that they exist in, but that is a secondary thing.

Do you have lifetime MB roadside assistance? All cars in the US do - it may be easiest to get them to bring you a battery and install.

But a group 49 is what you want.
