Sometimes you've got to look at where the application was used.

For example, no USA version of your engine was imported for your W123 chassis.

However, MBUSA did import a M110 engined car using the W114 chassis called the 280. They also had the engine in the W116 280S. Finding parts for those engines will likely get you what you need for yours....

But then there's the waterpump for a M110. Euros are euros, USA is different.

Owning a euro version requires some additional work and knowledge. That's why they tend to be cheaper in the marketplace.
