Hello,
I have an all stock audio set up in the car and have been using a tape adapter to listen to my ipod. The tape player seems to be on its last legs, so I am looking for information on a direct AUX hook up (i want to keep the stock head unit).

I have read about the AUX input being installed for $100 on the back of the head unit.

This car had a disc changer in the trunk that I pulled because I never used it. Could I splice into that wiring to make an AUX input without pulling the head unit?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
