Below are a couple of pictures of the drain as it approximately sits in the car. The hose is 3'9" in length, 1.8cm OD and 1.1cm ID (as best my eyes can read the ruler, wear are those damn reading glasses ). I found a connector I am going to use to extend the tube further down the "D" pillar. It is about 1.5cm OD or 9/16" OD and fits in the tube snugly.

If you can see your drain tube, it extends about 2" or so down the first louvered opening in the D pillar. I would hold it steady with something while running a hose extension from the bottom louver and trying to fit it in the drain hose. Maybe some small amount of lubricant to help. Anyway, that's the plan. Good luck.
