It has become the method by which Senators escape responsibility for paying off their "campaign contribution" bribes. I am at the point where I think we need to go the route of the British and abolish this House of Lords. It is impossible to think that the Founders wanted a form of government where a minority of Senators could block the majority. Why even bother to have a Senate? It makes elections a waste of time. This is not democracy as they intended.
