I have an 81' 240D for the past two years and have really grown to like it. Have a couple of questions that I was hoping you gys could help me with...
I have a leaking fuel line on my 240D and am trying to find what size to replace it with. Fastlane offers several with different ID's and I am now totally confused. Cannot find the info in my Haynes manual... Any ideas ?
Also, maybe I am losing it but my manual says that the capacity of the fuel tank on my 240D is approx. 17 gal but I consistently put in around 12.9 to 13.1 gal at the pump ! i.e. when the yellow "fuel low" light comes on. Can the reserve be 4 gal's ?! seems like overkill.
