Keep it looking originally as possible. Keep the EGR in place with hose going to switchover valve. You don't want to raise any questions. You might not want to bring it to the dealer/authorized MB repair shop for the inspection, maybe your mom and pop place down the street. Yeap RI has to get their cut of things, but it's still better than TAXACHUSETTS. Grew up in WW.
