They were fitted to the pre 1983 300D's sold in Australia, I think they are what you call a Euro. The light pattern is every bit as good as the later square looking ones. They are a slightly different shape than the square ones. They just fit as a replacement. I think the pre 1983 240D & 230E has them as well in Australia.
