The problem is that MAC people don't know what is out there in terms of actual speed and performance. The G4 is absolutely ancient. Even the lowest CPU's of today can easily beat it. A co-worker of mine recently picked up a 12" G4 for under $100.....think of what someone spent on it new.  (nearly 2k)
