Scary pictures!
There are two drain holes, one on either side of the transmission tunnel. A properly functioning 124 will make two puddles of condensate.
For reference, the gold box ahead of the shifter is located directly below the radio. Hence the evap drains are farther forward than they appear with the dashboard and HVAC system removed.
MB uses some fussy foam drain lines straight out the bottom of the evap box through the two holes in the transmission tunnel. They will likely flake apart into nothingness if you touch them. That's OK, an easy and inexpensive replacement is 3/4" rubber hose purchased from your local HD/Lowes/etc.
