Well, she seemed pretty eager, and she wasn't too bad looking, either.

But she made the mistake of driving a full-size Ford pickup. If I had looked at that girl and blasted away like I did, and 20 seconds later, a 400E had come screaming up on my tail, it would have been like "geez, where you been all my life, girl?"

Plus, I kind of wanted to see how the 740 would do in a car chase. I think I had been watching Ronin a few too many times around then and took it a bit literally that night.

Did the European 740 turbo have a good deal more hp than the US version? The car that I drive has something like 160 hp and 181 lbs feet of torque, but curb weight is a little over 2900 pounds. It's got some serious midrange power.
