That's how I hooked mine up. My only misgiving with doing it this way is that the bulb monitor can't tell when one of those two lamps burns out.

My question is...

Did the true euro version use both the side marker _and_ the bulb in the head lamp, or did they remove the side marker wiring and just use the bulb in the headlamp? This would simplify the wiring for the monitor by only testing the bulb in the headlamp, and the wire from the side marker could simply be moved to the headlamp connector.
