Are there any special tools/tricks required to remove the rear transmission cover.

I got the rear hub off and removed all the bolts off the rear cover. The cover moves out about 10-15 mm and then stops. The Rear output shaft also is sliding out with it.

Attached are the instructions from the repair manual for removal and installation of the rear cover.
