But I like my paint and clearcoat to be buttery smooth with as little imperfections and swirls as possible. Which is why I take care of my paint and clearcoat. I don't have to clay, polish, seal, wax, or even wash my cabriolet.. but I like having water bead right off leaving no water spots or acid rain etching my clear coat and making me have to polish the car more than it needs.
But hey that's just me. Don't let the members over at autiopia.org know this secret. It'd surely save hundreds if not thousands of dollars and put a lot of hard working individuals and companies out of business. As well as save me 8 hours of my time every 6 months.

I seriously doubt you can come to such exaggerated conclusions unless you have owned more than one car, from new, for 10 years or more each.
