85 IP with TPS, don't think so. Installed it in my 84 body without having to connect another line. There is a wire coming from the front of IP (toward radiator) and on the engine block side but that was useless for my 84.

aaa- yeah, it broke free but allow me to clear it up. The nut to the ALDA is still locked on the nut. What happened was that the assemble that is attached to the nut and goes down into the IP is what started to come out.

What I am wondering is:
1) have i screwed things up?
2) or can I remove the the nut assembly from the IP with the ALDA still connected, disconnect ALDA out of the IP, reinstall the nut and assembly back into the IP? all that without damaging anything if anything hasn't already been damaged.
