So Mitch got a fat head because a lot of Republicans got elected, over their Democratic opponents, thinking it's because we want Republican policies.
But I think we want Washington to work TOGETHER FOR THE PEOPLE.

If they hold this attitude, they'll get voted out in 2012.
But who do we replace them with ?

We don't need less government, we less POLITICS !

Thanks, Dear Leader!

The scenario you've portrayed is a little over simplified unfortunately. If you look at what the Dear Leader said and I'll paraphrase until I find the transcript was, "I'm inviting the republicans to meet directly and work together with my administration and passing legislation that advances my agenda, now that they control the House"

McConnell made it clear that the Republican agenda is first and foremost to defeat the Dear Leader in 2012 as that is the only possible way to stop his agenda, reverse his agenda, and to make any progress on the Republican agenda. He specifically said that when the Dear Leaders agenda coincides with the electorate the Republicans will be open to working with him, when his agenda does not coincide with the electorate the Republicans will work against his agenda.

This election was a historic reversal of fortune against the Dear Leader and his agenda of the left, if one takes into consideration the extent of the deluge which swept the left from their position of virtual absolute power it is even more significant. The number of anti-Democrat victories in Governorships, in State legislatures is stunning and will have significant consequences for years to come, and an advantage in the next election that hopefully will give the Dear Leader another historic first -First Black Single Term President in US history.
