I read to re-solder just the capacitors. Two are round, the rest are rectangular. If that fails, re-solder again and then do the rest.

But there is a varnish over the board making it very hard to work on.

And to remove the board I read about bending the small metal tabs that bend towards the center. Once bent outwards the board will pull right down. Otherwise its a pain to remove the board and metal housing.
