I'd run the diesel purge. Then change your filters and hoses. That way and deleterious effects of the diesel purge on hoses will not affect the new hoses.

DP can work to revive injectors in the case of an engine that has sat for a good while and injectors have gotten gummed up, or with an build-up in the injectors. But if the injectors are indeed tired then no amount of DP will help them.
