After also figuring out the reason my rear driver side window doesn't work i decided to revive this thread. (the reason the window doesn't work is because the previous owner hacked up the wires under the console in an attempt to wire a stereo in. what i am asking now is, " is it likely that the wire to the antenna, the connection i cannot find going to the antenna, has also been cut? should it be in an obvious location? or should i get a flashlight and try to find the connection based on a location suggested by any one of you?"

that was 3 question, not one like i said.
If the PO hacked up a rear window switch to install a stereo I would be very concerned about the rest of the car and its "maintenance" along with other "modifications". There are about 50 other, much easier places to tap into 12V+... Honestly your best bet is to get a decent multimeter and start tracing circuits. As far as your antenna wire, it looks like the antenna reception wire (usually the thickest) which usually has an end similar to an RCA A/V cable, but somebody plucked that connector off for a different one.
Also note that this is a double wire, I assume one being a ground but not sure on that. If the two wires were simply cut and crimped together into the same circuit I imagine that would ruin any chance of reception.
