Check Cam

It is an easy job but make sure you watch for the little cup washers on top of each stem. CHECK your cam. Mine had lobe wear. If you have ticking after oil pressure builds at your mileage I would not think I would be lucky enough for it just to be lifters. There are several excellent DIY links on lifter replacement but check the cam or you may wind up like me and need to do it twice.
