I can't get to the back of my garage at the moment where my engine is - wife's Birthday party tomorrow and it is full of the kid's bikes etc etc - but I'm game to pull that cap off of my engine.

If I remember correctly it is just a cap - I think there is a draw bolt behind. And even if I'm wrong with a tight chain the chain guide probably won't go anywhere for the 10 seconds you need to put on a new copper washer.

I understand it isn't that easy to reach with a radiator and V belts in place etc etc but I think with some yoga lessons you could probably contort yourself into a good position to reach in there.
